Spokane Falls Boulevard serves as a key downtown corridor, connecting businesses, hospitality and entertainment visitors, and regional transportation routes. It serves as the front porch to Riverfront Park and supports community events for thousands of people every year. As the City continues to plan for future reconstruction of the corridor, community input will fine-tune concepts that balance safety, mobility, access, and the economic vitality of downtown Spokane.

Presented in a five-minute video format, the concepts were developed using feedback gathered during previous outreach efforts. Earlier engagement identified priorities such as:

  • Improving pedestrian safety and access
  • Enhancing the corridor's appearance
  • Supporting downtown activity
  • Creating a more connected transportation network

Community members are encouraged to watch the informational video and provide feedback in an online survey that explores potential design concepts and their associated benefits and tradeoffs. Community feedback collected during this phase will be used alongside technical analysis to help guide future design decisions. No preferred designs have been selected at this time.
