Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10:46 p.m.

On 08-19-13 around 6:30 p.m. Spokane Police Department PACT (Patrol Anti Crime Team) developed information that Scott Ruziecki was inside a residence at 600 S Arthur. They attempted to make contact with him, but he initially refused to exit the residence. SWAT officers and Hostage Negotiators were called to the scene, due to information gathered last week, which indicated Ruziecki was armed and would shoot any law enforcement officer if confronted. Ruziecki later exited the residence without incident around 9:45 p.m.

Detectives are executing a search warrant for the residence in relation to the 3 robberies of local banks. Police expect to book Ruziecki into jail on his two warrants for 1st Robbery and 1st Theft and also on a new charge of 1st Robbery.
