9 a.m. - Initial investigation indicates the device that exploded last night was a pyrotechnic-type device, commonly referred to as an M-1000, not a bomb.
10 a.m. - Collaboration between the SPD and the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of two suspects in connection to recent pharmacy robberies.
11 a.m. - The Spokane Police Department is releasing the names of the officers involved in the shooting incident that occurred on January 17th, 2014.

9 a.m. - Around 6:30 pm, on January 12, 2014, Spokane Police officers responded to a report of an assault in the 200 block of W. Riverside Ave.
2 p.m. - Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives are investigating several recent pharmacy robberies occurring in Spokane and Spokane County.
11 a.m. - Officers locate suspect vehicle in Indian Trail vehicle prowling and arrest two prolific criminals.
11 a.m. - The Spokane Police Department will add an Explosive Detection K-9 to the Explosive Disposal Unit (EDU) for the first time in SPD history.
11 a.m. - Spokane Police, SWAT and Hostage Negotiators bring four barricaded subjects, from Walla Walla, out of a N. Spokane motel safely and peacefully.
2 p.m. - The SPD PACT arrested two people, 27-year-old Kristin Edwards and 32-year-old Gary Todd after they rammed into a police vehicle with a stolen vehicle.
2 p.m. - Spokane Police Department Patrol Anti-Crime Team (PACT) recovered two stolen vehicles, thousands of dollars in property and booked two individuals.
11 a.m. - Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives have developed probable cause to arrest 26-year-old Brandon Mellon for 1st Degree Murder.
5 p.m. - Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred late afternoon on January 03, 2014 in south Spokane.
1 p.m. - SPD Major Crimes Detectives and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in north Spokane on January 3, 2014.
