SPD Detectives investigate body found in north Spokane

Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives are investigating the discovery of a body outside a residence in N. Spokane. An autopsy will be conducted today. The Spokane County Medical Examiner will release the name of the deceased along with the official cause of death.

Yesterday, February 2, 2014, just before 2 p.m., Spokane Police received a call that a body was located in the yard of a residence in the 1200 block of E. Ermina in Spokane.

Spokane Police patrol responded, located the body of a male and SPD Major Crimes detectives were called out to investigate the incident.

The scene was processed by investigators and interviews were conducted with individuals at the scene. Additionally a search warrant was executed in order to obtain more information as to what may have led up to the death.

This is an on-going investigation. At this point, no arrests have been made in connection to this case.
