Detectives execute two search warrants in drug investigation

The Spokane Police Tactical Operations Unit executes two search warrants and recovers drugs, cash, two guns, and two cars, including a Jaguar. 19-year-old Andrew Kerr was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance - Cocaine and Delivery of Controlled Substance - Cocaine. This investigation is on-going.

On Thursday, February 6th, 2014, Spokane Police Tactical Operations Unit detectives executed two search warrants as part of a long-term drug investigation. Approximately 30 marijuana plants, cocaine, thousands of dollars in cash, two guns, and two cars were seized as part of the investigation.

Tactical Operations Unit detectives developed probable cause to search two residences, one in the 500 block of E. Empire in Spokane and one in the 9200 block of W. 72nd in Cheney for evidence of delivery of narcotics. During the execution of the search warrants, detectives located two marijuana grows with packaging and final product, one ounce of powdered cocaine, approximately $3,000 in cash, and two firearms. TCU detectives seized two vehicles, a Ford Explorer and Jaguar, which were used in the delivery of the drugs.

19-year-old Andrew Kerr was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance – Cocaine and Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine.

The Tactical Operations Unit continues to investigate this incident.
