Captain of Professional Oversight and Training, Rick Dobrow has been promoted to the position of Assistant Chief of the Spokane Police Department.
Rick Dobrow brings with him a wealth of experience in policing, including prior work as a Police Officer and Motorcycle Officer in the Patrol Division and Traffic Unit, a Patrol Lieutenant, a Lieutenant and Director of Training for the Spokane Police Academy, and Captain of Professional Standards and Training. Rick has been with SPD for nearly 20 years. Prior to coming to SPD, he worked as a Police Officer, Detective and Sergeant with the Stockton, California Police Department.
