SPD responds to report of child luring in north Spokane

Spokane Police respond to report of a child luring in north Spokane. Spokane Police, in coordination with Spokane Public Schools are investigating the incident.

Today, March 3, 2014, just before 4 p.m., Spokane Police received a report of a suspicious person in the 6000 block of N. Lidgerwood. The caller indicated a male, driving a late 80’s early 90’s baby blue suburban, was following a 6-year-old child in the area. The report indicated the child ran away from the vehicle and was safely re-united with a guardian. The man driving the suburban drove away from the scene. He is describes as a white male, approximately 25-35 years old with a medium build, dark brown or black hair, and a short trimmed beard and mustache.
