9:28 a.m. - Police have located and arrested 2nd Degree Murder suspect Chrystal Huff (40) after hours of negotiations and response.
12:27 p.m. - Police have arrested Jorden L. Mayo (age 21) on 21 counts of Theft-related activity, including 13 counts of 2nd Degree Identity Theft.
9:42 a.m. - Major Crimes detectives have Probable Cause to arrest Chrystal L. Huff (40) for 2nd Degree Murder for the stabbing of Richard W. Whipple.
3:20 p.m. - Major Crimes Detectives are looking to the public to help identify a male who may have been involved in an armed robbery at Sunset Grocery last month
10:29 a.m. - Police safely arrest Armed Robbery suspect Joseph GW Layman (28). He was booked into jail on charges of 1st Degree Robbery and 2nd Degree Robbery.
11:03 a.m. - The suspect, Donald R. Caldwell, was taken into custody safely after barricading himself in a residence armed with a knife.
2:35 p.m. - Police are asking the public to help ID a Robbery suspect possibly connected to two robberies in the past two days. Call 911 with any information.
8:58 a.m. - The Spokane Police Department will hold our next Coffee with a Cop event, in partnership with River Park Square, on October 22, from 12 to 2 p.m.

4:30 p.m. - Detectives have an active warrant to arrest Enrique Pena for 1st Degree Murder in connection to the homicide at the Howard Johnson Motel on 8-10-14
4:41 p.m. - Police have investigated the report of a possible child luring in the area of 21st and Thor and found no evidence of it occurring.
4:29 p.m. - Police arrest a total of six people believed to be connected to a series of property crimes reported on the South Hill within the past four weeks.
2:04 p.m. - Update: Police found no evidence that a luring occurred. Officers responded to a report of a possible child luring attempt in South Spokane
1:57 p.m. - Police investigate stabbing that also involved a vehicle/pedestrian crash on October 11, just before 7 p.m.
11:40 a.m. - Detectives are investigating a possible hit and run collision that injured a 14 year-old boy.
