3:31 p.m. - Spokane Police successfully located a four time convicted felon, after he attempted to carjack three separate individuals.
9:26 a.m. - After over 8 hours, a standoff situation in east Spokane has now ended. The Spokane Police Department has taken Benjamin P Ellis (30) into custody.
2:32 a.m. - SPD is dealing with a standoff situation in east Spokane. Crestline is closed from Boone to Broadway and Cataldo is closed from Stone to Napa.
1:17 p.m. - The Spokane Police PACT team arrested a twelve time convicted felon who Attempted to Elude Officers, and crashed into a truck and an STA Bus.
9:58 a.m. - MCU is investigating a death in the 500 block of E. Crown. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
8:41 a.m. - Major Crimes Investigators have made an arrest in the shooting that sent one victim to an area hospital early this morning.
5:38 p.m. - An SPD Officer saved a woman by pulling her from her burning car on the north side. When the officer arrived on scene, the car was filled with smoke.
3:58 p.m. - A large semi exceeding height restrictions is currently lodged under the railroad trestle on Stevens st. in downtown Spokane.
3 p.m. - Update on Sunday, January 15, 2017 officer involved shooting.
8:01 p.m. - SPD is investigating a stabbing which occurred in the 1800 block of W. Boone Ave. The suspect called in after stabbing his roommate with a knife.
8:45 a.m. - A Spokane Police officer was involved in an Officer Involved Shooting (O.I.S.) tonight. One officer fired his service weapon striking the subject.
3:21 a.m. - A water main break near Freya and Congress on the South Hill is causing significant traffic issues this morning. Freya hill is currently closed.
9:23 a.m. - Spokane Police are investigating an attempted robbery of the Jo-Ann Fabrics located at 2801 E. 29th Ave
12:31 p.m. - SPD is actively searching for 24 year old Kevin W. Kiowski.
3:46 p.m. - SPD will be holding a press conference on Thursday to explain the details.
10:03 a.m. - An ordinance passed in 2014 as a response to large groups of individuals loitering in downtown has led to positive outcomes for downtown safety.
10:10 a.m. - The Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating an assault that occurred in the 1300 block of E. Sprague.
9:13 a.m. - SPD has taken suspects into custody for the US Bank robbery which occurred on Wednesday, January 4.
8:22 a.m. - SPD is investigating the Wednesday, January 4 robbery of the Great Harvest Bread on the South Hill.
1:59 p.m. - SPD is investigating a robbery of the US Bank at Northpoint Plaza.
2:43 p.m. - SPD responds to two separate bank robberies within minutes of each other in north Spokane.
