At 11:47 a.m. the Spokane Police Department received a call of a scooter vs truck collision in the North West part of town. The Lime scooter failed to yield the right of way while traveling west on Princeton. The truck was south on “G” street and struck the scooter when it crossed in front of it. No charges will be filed, or citations issued.

The rider of the scooter received what were originally reported as possible life threatening head injuries. She has since been upgraded to a concussion and needing stitches. The scooter rider was not wearing a helmet.
