Around 1:38 a.m. officers responded to a person with a weapon call near the 3500 block of E Empire. The caller reported that a male and female had forced their way into the residence and the female was armed with a handgun.

The suspects claimed they were sent there to get money from someone in the residence. During a heated exchange the female suspect allegedly brandished a firearm and threatened the occupants of the residence. The suspects then left the house, stating that they would “be back with the Russians.”

An officer on scene saw the suspect vehicle leaving the area. The vehicle was stopped near Wellesley and Rebecca. Niles Nicola, Abby Plumlee, and Corey Darilek were arrested for 1st degree burglary and attempted 1st degree robbery.
