4:58 p.m. - A fight at the NorthTown Mall between two brothers ends in gun fire.
3:23 p.m. - Thanks to a tip from a concerned citizen, SPD arrests felon suspect after he flees from routine traffic stop. Officers find firearms in the vehicle.
3:22 p.m. - Spokane Police help a worried Minnesota family find their son who hopped a train to Portland, via Spokane, to meet someone he met online.
3:20 p.m. - SPD arrested and booked a juvenile male for causing a house fire.
11:20 a.m. - Shooting suspect taken into custody without incident by SPD Police Anti-Crime Team
5:15 p.m. - A credit union was evacuated while Spokane Police officers engage an agitated man, armed with a knife that made threatening statements.
2:07 p.m. - A man was arrested after starting a car fire in a parking lot on the Public Safety building campus. The fire was quickly extinguished.
9:11 a.m. - The Spokane Police Department swears in 4 new police officers Monday afternoon.
2:56 p.m. - An early morning Browne’s Addition shooting results in one man deceased and another in the hospital.
5:17 p.m. - Suspect arrested for Residential Burglary and Domestic Violence Order violations after short standoff for the second time this week.
4:33 p.m. - A convicted felon is charged with numerous felonies again, after his involvement in a third and separate crime in less than two months.
12:02 p.m. - Spokane Police Officers respond to a report of a bloody, naked, impaired man destroying the laundry facility at Father Bach Haven downtown.
11:57 a.m. - Spokane Police Officers arrested three young adults after they lured an acquaintance into a residence where they beat and robbed the victim.
9:12 a.m. - On the morning of Dec. 9, an employee inside the Teamsters building called 911 to report that a male was inside the building claiming he had a bomb.
12:21 a.m. - One person was arrested for vehicular homicide following the collision.
2:57 p.m. - A tow truck driver was assaulted and his truck damaged when repossessing a truck.
10:34 a.m. - WASPC Co-Deployed team data for November 2020 shows continued success in diverting people in crisis from jails and hospitals.
4:41 p.m. - Man arrested for making a bomb threat to Planned Parenthood.
4:37 p.m. - A Spokane Police Detective Sergeant is shot in the face with a paintball gun and a real firearm is recovered from his assailant as well as heroin.
3:57 p.m. - Domestic Violence suspect exits apartment after a brief standoff and is taken into custody without further incident.
3:42 p.m. - SPD Patrol Anti-Crime Team (PACT) & Downtown Neighborhood Resource Officers (NRO) make an arrest in the “Real-Life Christmas Tree Grinch” theft case.
