On 2/2/24 at approximately 2am, SPD responded to the 2400 block of N. Hamiliton on a shooting call. Upon arrival officers found an adult male deceased in a yard. The scene was quickly locked down and officers began an investigation. At this juncture, it does not appear the shooting was random. Major Crimes detectives are handling the case and working to identify and locate a suspect. This is an ongoing investigation, more information will be released as warranted.
The name of the victim and the cause and manner of his death will be released by the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office at a later date.
