SPD Asking for Help to Locate Missing Child

Update 12/12/2024: Kyesu has been located and is home safe with family.

Spokane Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing child. Kyesu Abooki (12), who may also go by Jessica, has not been seen since she was due home after school. If you see Abooki or know of her whereabouts, please call Crime Check at 509.456.2233.

On December 11, 2024, at around 9:30pm, Spokane Police received a call from Abooki’s family. They advised it did not appear she arrived home after school. They currently reside in the Hillyard area.

Abooki is described as a black female, black hair, usually worn in a bun with two braids in front, 5’6”, 130-140 pounds, last possibly wearing a black sweater. She also has glasses but does not always wear them.
