3 p.m.

DUI Crash

3:57 p.m. - A drugged up driver collided into a vehicle. In an attempt to flee the scene the driver slammed into a residence disabling their vehicle.

2 p.m.

Arson Arrest

2:24 p.m. - An alert Officer, with the help several citizens were able to quickly get the fires under control and arrest a suspect shortly after.

SPD Now Accepting CPL Applications and Scheduling Fingerprinting

2:19 p.m. - SPD is now accepting applications for new, renewed, and replacement CPL’s (Concealed Pistol License) through the police department website.

7 a.m.

Hotline for Tips Regarding Human Trafficking

7:17 a.m. - The FBI in conjunction with the Safe Streets Task Force is putting out a tip line to receive tips and info regarding human trafficking in our area.

Armed Standoff Vehicle Barricade

7:12 a.m. - SPD respond to a call of Domestic Violence and ends up in a standoff with an armed man in the parking lot of the Five Mile shopping center.
