SPD is now accepting applications for new, renewed, and replacement CPL’s (Concealed Pistol License) through the police department website.

As part of the online application process for a new CPL, citizens must schedule an appointment time for the required fingerprinting in order to be served at the Public Safety Building. No fingerprinting is needed for on-time renewal or replacement CPL’s. Appointment times will be spread out to allow SPD to follow COVID19 guidelines for public spaces and limit the number of people in the lobby. SPD will initially open with limited hours and then expand those hours as Spokane County moves into Phase 3. The application process is open to only residents of Spokane County, and those outside of WA State, in the case of non-resident applications.

CPL related appointments will be taken from 10:00am – 2:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. To make an appointment visit https://my.spokanecity.org/police/information/. We appreciate your patience in advance as we work through this new process. Fingerprint appointments are filling quickly.
