Shooting in Northeast Spokane

Spokane police are in the process of investigating a shooting that took place in Northeast Spokane.

Saturday evening around 11:30pm, officers responded to a call of a shooting in the area of Perry and Dalton. Officers arrived on scene to find a male victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers immediately started first aid and Spokane fire department personnel as well as AMR responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.

Officers are currently searching the nearby area for a possible suspect in this shooting. Major crimes investigators are responding to the scene for further investigation. This is an active scene at this point and the roads in the area will be closed for a while longer.
