Officer involved shooting during crime scene investigation

4:25 p.m. - At approximately 10 a.m. this morning officers responded to 2512 N. Standard to investigate a female who was deceased at the location.

Visuals at SPD Hosted State K-9 Conference - 1 pm Today

10:19 a.m. - Today at 1 pm the following visuals as well as an opportunity for an on-camera interview will be available at the Spokane Police Academy.

SPD Arrests Robbery Suspect One Hour After Initial Call

1:38 p.m. - Police respond to two Robbery reports in North Spokane; Officers locate and arrest a suspect, 24-year-old Joshua J. Roullier.

Spokane Police Arrest Shooting Suspect

9:36 p.m. - Major Crimes detectives have arrested 23-year-old Andre R. Hallman in connection to the shooting at the Lions Lair on 4/23/14.

Spokane PD K9 Unit hosts upcoming WSPCA conference

4:53 p.m. - The Spokane Police K-9 Unit will host the Washington State Police Canine Association (WSPCA) Spring Seminar, April 27th-30th.

The Spokane Law Enforcement Museum turns 4

4:51 p.m. - The Spokane Law Enforcement Museum, 1201 W. First Ave., is celebrating our 4th Anniversary this Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Update to Yesterday's Stabbing

11:35 p.m. - Stabbing suspect booked for Attempted Murder.

Vehicle theft suspect rams citizen's car

4:33 p.m. - Roscoe Wood was arrested on two counts of 2nd Degree Assault, two counts of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, one count of 2nd Degree Malicious Mischief

Downtown Shooting

8:18 a.m. - Overnight shooting downtown sends one victim to the hospital. Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect(s).

April 23

SPD Responds to Stabbing

4:43 p.m. - One male victim transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The incident appears to be the result of a domestic dispute.

SPD Arrests Cell Phone Thief with 2-Foot Sword

11:02 a.m. - A patrol officer conducting Hot Spot patrols near downtown quickly apprehends a cell phone thief, 24-year-old Jacob K. McGill.

Weekend Recap for 4-18 to 4-20

12:39 p.m. - Police responded to two separate shots fired calls, booked a serial recycler, and brought three suspects in for numerous property crime charges.

SPD Arrests Two in Yesterday's McDonald's Armed Robbery

11:36 a.m. - Spokane Police arrest two suspects in connection to a Robbery which occurred yesterday, at about 6 pm, at the McDonald’s at 2200 W. Wellesley Ave.

SPD arrests suspect in stabbing/fight

9:13 a.m. - Police have arrested 26-year-old Edward Bobby Donoian on charges of 1st Degree Assault in connection to a stabbing on Monday, April 14th.

SPD arrests bomb threat suspect

11:36 a.m. - No explosives were located. The suspect, 44-year-old David J. Maslo was arrested for Threats to Bomb or Injure Property.

SPD arrests felon in possession of a rifle

10:49 a.m. - Officers arrest 24-year-old Casey L. Brown for illegally possessing a firearm and other charges after he allegedly stole a rifle in a vehicle prowling

Five new SPD recruits graduate from Basic Law Enforcement Academy

2:45 p.m. - Chris LeQuire, Jordan Brown, Corrigan Mohondro, Brandon Fabian, and Brandon Lynch will attend a three week SPD-specific training course.

April 14

SPD responds to fight/stabbing; two transported to hospital

12:28 p.m. - SPD responds to stabbing near Division and Spokane Falls Blvd. Two individuals were transported to the hospital and will be interviewed by detectives.

10:30 a.m. - Major Crimes detectives have arrested 33-year-old Robby J. Wahrer in connection to the homicide of Douglas J. Carlile on 12/15/2013

SPD Arrests Suspect in E. Grace Shooting Incident

10:10 a.m. - Major Crimes detectives have arrested 36-year-old Troy A. Pesina in connection to a shooting at a home in the 3300 block of E. Grace on April 1, 2014

SIRR Team forwards deputy involved shooting case to prosecutor

2:07 p.m. - Investigative Regional Response Team has completed their investigation incident and has sent it to the prosecutor's office to be reviewed.

SPD sees increase in scam/fraud incidents involving debit/credit cards

1:23 p.m. - The SPD has seen a recent increase in scam/fraud incidents involving debit/credit cards and utilities in the Spokane area.

Police look to public to help identify stabbing suspect

12:33 p.m. - Spokane Police responded to a reported stabbing at The Flame, 2401 E. Sprague Ave on March 23 around 12:30 a.m.

10:49 a.m. - Police responded to five major incidents over the weekend of April 4-7.

SPD patrol responds to report of stabbing in NW Spokane

10:22 a.m. - Initial reports indicate the victim confronted the suspect during a burglary in progress and was stabbed.

SPD responds to shooting call

3 p.m. - Major Crimes Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that occurred just before 1 a.m. near the intersection of E. 9th Ave. and S. Perry St.

We are looking for the public's help identifying an assault suspect

2:03 p.m. - Officers responded to a call in the 5300 block of N. Wall after the victim saw the male suspect prowling his vehicle yesterday around 3 p.m.

SPD arrests kidnapping suspect

6:06 p.m. - Spokane Police arrest 55-year-old Richard L. Welch for 1st Degree Kidnapping in connection to the kidnapping of a 3-year-old child.

SPD releases names of officers involved in 03-26 shooting

4:38 p.m. - The five officers involved in the shooting have nearly 60 years of combined experience with the Spokane Police Department.

Police ask for public's assistance locating missing at-risk man

3:24 p.m. - 60-year-old Alfred Woodruff was last seen yesterday afternoon at his residence in the 200 block of W. Riverside.

Suspect connected to 10 armed robberies

11:35 a.m. - Spokane Police Major Crime detectives continue to investigate a string of Armed Robberies that have occurred in Spokane since February 17, 2014.

April 1

Spokane Police investigate N Spokane shooting

3:50 p.m. - Spokane Police responded to a shooting at Holy Family Hospital, 5600 N. Lidgerwood, on 04-01-14 around 12 p.m.

Police and SWAT execute search warrant at 5900 N Cochran

3 p.m. - Police arrest 33-year-old Summer Allen for Conspiracy to Commit 2nd Degree Burglary and 1st Degree Theft.

Third session of Youth and Police Initiative graduates on Friday

11:35 a.m. - Media is invited to attend the session on Thursday, April 3rd at 4 p.m. where reporters will have the opportunity to interview program participants.
