Spokane Police investigate Safeway robbery

11:30 a.m. - Spokane Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on February 28th at approximately 1 a.m. at the Safeway on W. Northwest Blvd.

SPD executes search warrant; recovers guns, drugs

9 a.m. - Spokane Police arrest three people and seize drugs, firearms and electronics after executing a search warrant at a Spokane residence.

SPD looks to public to help ID Fred Meyer robbery suspects

10 a.m. - Spokane Police look to the public to help identify two suspects, who threatened store security with a knife, from a robbery that occurred on 2-22-14.

Officers follow footprints in snow and locate two suspects

9:30 a.m. - Officers follow footprints in snow and locate two suspects; Darren Bard and Nicholas Whitney were arrested on 2 counts of 2nd Degree Burglary.

Officers use CIT training to de-escalate suicidal man

9 a.m. - Spokane police use Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) to safely de-escalate a suicidal man with a firearm on February 25, 2014 just after 6 p.m.

25 more charges requested for pharmacy robbery suspects

1 p.m. - Spokane Police have requested 25 additional charges for three pharmacy robbery suspects: Jacy L. Thomson, Philip J. Powlus and Dale J. Cusick.

Serious auto-pedestrian accident near SFCC

11 a.m. - Spokane Police responded to a report of a serious auto-pedestrian collision near Spokane Falls Community College (3400 W. Fort George Wright Dr.).

Investigation leads to arrest of Robbery and Car Theft suspect

10:30 a.m. - Spokane Police arrest 19-year-old Corey Huska for a series of crimes committed throughout Spokane.

SPD Detectives arrest suspect in Garland area shooting

11 a.m. - Spokane Police detectives arrest Marshall M. Barkdull (28-years-old) on three counts of 1st Degree Assault in connection to a drive-by shooting.

SPD investigates two unrelated robberies

9 a.m. - Police investigate two unrelated robberies on Feb 18th, one at the 2100 block of W NW Blvd and the other at the 1800 block of E South Riverton.

SPD investigates copper wire thefts

10 a.m. - Spokane Police are investigating several reports of commercial burglaries where copper wire and other metals were stolen and offering prevention tips.

8:30 a.m. - Spokane Police search for coffee stand robbery suspect after he robbed Mug Shots at 1717 W Garland Ave on February 17 at 6:37 a.m.

6 p.m. - Spokane Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on February 15, just after 4 p.m. in the 800 block of W. Walton.

Midnight - County Sheriff's deputies involved in Officer Involved Shooting incident. The Spokane Investigative Regional Response Team is investigating.

Detectives execute two search warrants in drug investigation

1:15 p.m. - Spokane Police Tactical Operations Unit executed two search warrants and recovered drugs, cash, two guns, and two cars, and arrested Andrew Kerr.

Police continue investigation into fatality collision

11 a.m. - Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives continue to investigate a fatal auto/pedestrian collision that occurred February 09.

Rick Dobrow promoted to SPD Assistant Chief

7 a.m. - Captain of Professional Oversight and Training, Rick Dobrow, has been promoted to the position of Assistant Chief of the Spokane Police Department.

Off duty officer arrests domestic violence suspect

8 a.m. - The quick response of an off-duty SPD officer leads to the arrest of a domestic violence suspect on February 6, 2014, just before 8:30 p.m.

PACT arrests prolific car thief

Noon - PACT arrests prolific car thief and five-time convicted felon, 34-year-old Anthony Carson, for Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

SPD asks public to help locate missing woman

11:30 a.m. - Spokane Police Department requests assistance in locating a missing adult female who escaped from the custody of Eastern State Hospital.

Feb. 4

Nine time convicted felon arrested for Hillyard burglary

8 p.m. - Spokane Police arrest prolific thief, 50-year-old Burnell Doering, for Hillyard area burglary.

Feb. 3

SPD Detectives investigate body found in north Spokane

8:30 a.m. - Spokane Police Major Crimes Detectives are investigating the discovery of a body in N. Spokane. An autopsy will be conducted today.

SPD responds to armed robbery

8 a.m. - Spokane Police responded to an Armed Robbery at a pharmacy in N Spokane. The suspect, 23-year-old Eric Bordner, was arrested for 1st Degree Robbery.
