May 4 at 5:58 p.m. - The City of Spokane first responders are hosting an appreciation parade on Friday, May 14.

Downtown Natural Gas Leak

April 28 at 4:41 p.m. - Before midnight on Tuesday, SFD was dispatched to 800 W Spokane Falls Blvd for a hazardous materials incident involving a natural gas leak.

Shadle Park House Fire

April 19 at 2:24 p.m. - SFD responds to the 4300 Block of North Maple Street on a report of a possible house fire.

Church Fire

April 14 at 8:02 a.m. - SFD and automatic aid agency Spokane Fire District 9 responded to the 2900 Block of East Olympic Avenue on a possible structure fire.

Apartment Fire

April 12 at 4:15 p.m. - SFD responded to Mission Avenue and Washington Street for a 911 report of smoke visible in a large building.

Teams Deliver COVID-19 Vaccine Upstream

April 8 at 2:59 p.m. - Disabled and homebound CARES Clients received COVID-19 vaccine over the past two days by the Spokane Fire Department's Integrated Medical Division.

Duplex Structure Fire

April 8 at 12:09 p.m. - April 7, at approximately 7:40 pm, SFD responded to the area of East Princeton Avenue /North Division Street to a 911 report of a house on fire.

East Spokane House Fire

April 6 at 2:04 p.m. - SFD was dispatched to the 1900 Block of East Sharp to a 911 report of smoke and fire emanating from the second floor of a residence.

Tree Trimmer Rescue

April 5 at 9:07 a.m. - Spokane Fire Department responded to the area of Rockwood and Helena Ct on a report of a tree trimmer injured approximately 75 feet up in a tree.

March 23 at 12:14 p.m. - Tuesday, March 23, at approximately midnight, SFD responded to the 2300 E block of Central Avenue on a report of a possible house fire.

Broad St Apartment Fire

March 19 at 10:52 a.m. - Thursday, March 18, units from the Spokane Fire Department were dispatched to 3000 block of E Broad St for an apartment fire.

Second Alarm Early Morning Church and School Fire

March 18 at 4:15 p.m. - SFD and SPD respond to a fire at St Charles Catholic Church.

West Dalton Residential Structure Fire

March 15 at 9:28 a.m. - Friday, March 12, units from SFD were dispatched to 1225 W Dalton for a residential structure fire.

March 8 at 3:10 p.m. - Sunday, March 7, SFD and Fire District 8 were dispatched to the 3100 block of East 37th Avenue for an apartment building on fire.

West Weile Residential Structure Fire

March 3 at 10:49 a.m. - SFD and an auto aid engine company from Fire District 9 were dispatched to the 2100 block of West Weile Avenue for a residential structure fire.

Residential Fire and Rescue on Spokane's South Hill

March 3 at 10:47 a.m. - SFD and a District 8 Engine Company were dispatched to the 3400 block of East 28th Avenue for a residence on fire.

Feb. 15 at 8:34 a.m. - SFD crews were dispatched to a report of a structure fire on W. Gardner Ave. The caller reported flames coming from the front of the home.

Jan. 27 at 12:16 p.m. - Tuesday, SFD and a District 1 Engine Company, through automatic aid, were dispatched to the 2400 block of East 5th Avenue for a residence on fire.

South Hill Garage Fire

Jan. 19 at 7:48 a.m. - SFD and Fire District 8, were dispatched to the 1800 block of East 18th Avenue for a report of a fire in an attached garage underneath a house.

South Hill House Fire

Jan. 15 at 11:02 a.m. - SFD was dispatched to the 600 block of West 20th Avenue for multiple reports of a one and a half story home with its back porch on fire.

Deputy Fire Marshal Near Miss

Jan. 15 at 10:59 a.m. - Deputy Fire Marshal's vehicle crushed by Ponderosa Pine tree while he occupied the driver's seat. He was uninjured and able to walk away.

First Responder Vaccination Clinic

Jan. 15 at 10:54 a.m. - Spokane County's First Responders finished its mission, with the last vaccination occurring Thursday, Jan. 14

Jan. 12 at 4:11 p.m. - SFD was dispatched to the 1200 block of E. Sprague for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Logan Fire Child Fatality

Jan. 8 at 12:03 p.m. - SFD is saddened to announce the passing of 4-year-old Michael LeRoy Kane II, the community's first fire fatality of 2021.

Early Sunday Morning Logan Fire

Jan. 4 at 9:42 a.m. - SFD was dispatched to the 1200 block of E. Illinois for a reported house fire.

Christmas Morning Commercial Fire

Jan. 4 at 9:39 a.m. - A first alarm was dispatched to North Hough Street and East Trent Avenue for a 911 report of a commercial building on fire.
