Dec. 27 at 8:23 a.m. - SFD has responded to more than 60 calls in the past 48 hours involving broken sprinklers, burst water pipes, and resulting water flow alarms.

Dec. 15 at 8:25 a.m. - SFD responded to the 2200 East block of Glass Avenue on a report of a detached, two-car garage fire.

South Hill Apartment Fire

Dec. 15 at 7:52 a.m. - SFD was dispatched to a commercial structure fire after a US Postal Service employee observed smoke from the apartment when he was delivering mail.

Search and Recovery from Spokane River

Dec. 12 at 10:05 a.m. - SFD and SVFD were dispatched to a water rescue at the SPD Training Center.

Dec. 8 at 8:09 a.m. - On Dec. 7, 2022, a structure fire was reported by a passerby in the 3200 block of East Sprague.

Nov. 17 at 11:27 a.m. - The fire investigator identified the nature as accidental.

Jan. 25 at 1:33 p.m. - On January 18, 2022, at 1:11 PM, 911 received a call from a homeowner reporting a fire in the interior basement wall of his residence.
